San Antonio – El Tepeyac is a rural community located 8 km southeast of the city of Granada. The population is highly impoverished and the community is divided into 7 rural areas with a total of approximately 1,450 residents, 32% of whom are under 15 years of age. The surrounding areas served include San Antonio I, San Antonio II, El Mamón, Los Treminios, Los Chamorros, Las Parcelas, and El Pachón.

The Children’s Wellness Fund offers a community health clinic at Centro JACS that provides no-cost medical consultations and assistance for members of the El Tepeyac community; we offer primary health care services and free medicine.  Services also include support with lab tests, imaging test, special examinations, prescription eye-glasses, improved nutrition for children with nutritional deficiencies; specialized medical support as needed.

A no-cost dental clinic also provides care to the community in conjunction with all of our projects.

We work with the neighboring schools of Escuela Juan Diego and Escuela Benito Juárez to conduct school health campaigns each semester, which include lice removal, treatment for parasites, mufti-vitamins, and dental health care as needed.
