La Prusia is a rural community located 5 km southwest of the city of Granada. The population is highly impoverished and the community is divided into 2 rural areas with a total of approximately 1,300 residents, 36% of whom are under 15 years of age.
CWF provides no-cost medical services once a week to all community members. Patients are provided with free medicines as needed. CWF provides financial aid to help pay for referrals to specialist, lab work and imaging. Food baskets and/or nutritious supplements provided to children with nutritional deficiencies. Access to no-cost dental care.
